> Our approach
Good corporate governance is first and foremost one that truthfully reflects the leader’s strategy
Aliath works with top managers in a structured and iterative process to define and implement the governance best suited to the mission they have articulated for their company.
At the onset of our projects, we seek to understand the intent of a leader behind their willingness to develop the governance of their company.
Corporate governance is therefore inherently a topic for discussion and development with the leader.
A process of constant improvement
Aliath works with the corporate leader to build their Board of Directors (definition, implementation, leadership, appraisal), around the three fundamental functions of an independent director:
- The constructive challenge of strategy with benevolence but not complacency;
- The objective support of the strategy with commitment and independence;
- The dynamic supervision of strategy implementation with vigilance and rigour in order to identify weak signals.
• Aliath benefits from a twin competence around Boards and corporate Directors, which combines the objectivity of a consultant with the experience of field work. • Aliath benefits from a regulatory watch capability that allows it to anticipate changes impacting corporate governance (legal, social issues, etc). • Aliath relies on a network of selected partners (strategy, change management, HR, communication, CSR, etc).
